No wild game served | Cabelas review from Wichita, Kansas

I just visited the Cabelas in Wheeling, WV. I live 2 hours away and I really enjoy this store. Mainly cause they sold wild game sandwiches like Elk, Bison and a few more but now since Bass Pro bought them out they no longer serve it. What a major disappointment. They still serve Elk burgers which was good but the wild game sandwiches were really delicious. PLEASE BRING BACK WILD GAME FOOD!!!!!

I purchased the 160 liter dehydrator at CABELLAS. They said I have a lifetime warranty. It broke after 3 or 4 years of part time use in the fall. Called custormer service. They said call Weston. Called Weston. They said they did not have the part(control panel). They suggested I look on line and install another one myself. They said it only had a one year warranty. Called CABELLAS back. They wanted a receipt(after 4 years). I have to box up this 24 tray commercial dehydrator and ship it to WI. They will issue me a refund for the shipping(I hope). Here it is fall, when we use this "commercial dehydrator" and I am doing ;their work to try and make them keep their promise. DO NOT BUY FROM CABELLAS. THEY ARE JUST CORPORATE SCAMMERS!

Details
Sent out a rifle to be repaired. This is a rifle I purchased NEW at Cabelas. Called 10 days later to see if it was in yet. Was told "The guy who handles that isn't in today". Called the customer service 800 number and was told " I don't know, I never handled a problem like this" Called the store directly 3 times and the phone rang 35 times each without answer. Fourth time got an answer. An answering machine. Cabelas is run like a Mom and Pop store and both Mom and Pop have Dementia.

Ever since Bass Pro bought Cabelas. They switched to the terrible Cabela's policies. There was a reason Cabela's wasn't do so well before Cabela's was bought out. Their policies are not working.

I had a very similar experience with a pair of boots that were shown on sale in TWO places in a sale flyer. Went to order them online and it showed regular price.

Called Cabelas and they would not honor the flyer price, said it was a mistake or something of that nature.

Even though the sale page on the flyer said 'guaranteed' price. I still get their flyers, but have not ordered from them since!
