Cannot get parts
I have a $500 sausage stuffer purchased from Cabela that is nothing more than a 40 pound metal peice of junk. One of the main gears stripped out (fairly common problem I have found out with this product).
I called Cabellas Mar 3, 2015 to order a new gear and a couple of new stuffer funnels. Then the run around began! I was advised that I had to contact Weston Manufacturing (who made the stuffer) and get the part numbers from them. Cabelas told me that Weston would not sell directly to me, that I would then need to call Cabelas back with the part numbers and order the parts from them.
I did this and after several days (you can only communicate with Weston manufacturing via e-mail) I called Cabelas back with the part numbers. I was told the parts would be ordered and I would receive them within two weeks. No parts so I called Cabelas back and and was then informed that Weston refused to sell parts for this stuffer, even though Cabelas is still selling the sausage stuffer. Have gotten the run-a-round and nothing else from them!
Then they have called twice to see if I want to go ahead and order the funnels????? Why would I want to order more accessories for a useless $500 sausage stuffer that they refuse to sell a replacement main gear for?

Nikon M223 Scope Scam
Update on the Nikon M223 scope cabela's online price screw up. I called the Boise Cabela's and asked them to honor the online price.
The associate that I talked to went to his manager with my order number and got him to approve the price. Kuddos to the Boise...
My second email from cabelas says that the item is backordered if this is the case then why when I search there scopes that this same scope with identical item number shows available online but at the changed price! I included the link to the updated price for same identical scope below in the links.

Nikon M-223 Scope Scam
I purchased this Nikon scope on 11/25, the day before thanksgiving thinking my black friday shopping budget was used and done!
Received email confirming the order on 11/25, then another email on 11/26 informing me that my ordered items may arrive separately. Which was strange since i only ordered the scope.
On Black Friday 11/27, they sent me an email canceling my order due to "Every effort is made to avoid mistakes in our catalogs as well as on our Online Store, however, should errors inadvertently appear, we reserve the right to correct them. The NIKON M223 RIFLESCOPE was inadvertently listed with the incorrect price. In light of this, your order for this item will be cancelled and/or returned to Cabela's."
So basically i stopped black friday shopping only to find out at the end of black friday that what I had set out to buy for this day was a scam. A scam to pull me to their website and hopefully get me to buy other items.
Anyway the opportunity cost to myself in this situation was huge.
Shame on you for choosing to conduct business in the manner.

Agree, have purchased a 20 lb vertical stufer for $400-$500 and can't get parts such as the plunger o ring. Great sales organization with no support might as well a chinese cheapy and throw away since that is what the cabela's products are
I also have a Cabelas hand operated stuffer made by Westin. All that I need is a piston seal, which is no longer serviced through Cabelas or Weston.
The piston seal? Come on! Of all things this is the most likely to wear out. I also have a $300 piece of junk.
Shame on Cabelas and Weston. I sure won't be buying another one from them.

I am in the same boat needing a piston o-ring, so far no luck. Weston does not even have the model # in their system. 07 model. I was told to find one at the hardware store by Cabela's customer service.
I guess ill have to figure out how to fix it myself. or buy a different brand name o-ring and hope it will fit.
